There is almost nothing more powerful for your business in 2021 than a converting website.
Today, everyone is online all the time, so a converting website gives you an incredible advantage. Big company, small company, one-person company… whatever. A converting website matters.
I’m not saying you can’t do business without a converting website… but goodness, a website that converts readers into leads and/or sales makes everything easier.
Here’s why a converting website is so important: you can do ANYTHING with it. You can advertise anywhere, any way, and any time. If it’s converting at a good clip, all you need to do is bring it traffic, and bam, you’re gold. It’s like a little business machine, on duty 24 x 7 x 365. (note: mine has been running consistently for almost 20 years).
Some of you might be saying “yea, but Dan, getting traffic is hard and takes a long time.”
No, not really. Because you can BUY traffic to start out.
Then you say “but that’s expensive”.
My retort is “not if you have a converting website.”
If you spend $1,000 on Google ads, but your website consistently converts that into $29,000 worth of business… (this happens all the time).
A converting website allows you to really get going with other marketing channels, both online and off. You can try different things, get creative, etc. But it all starts with a website that converts. Without that, you have nothing.
I’m going to talk extensively about website conversion in this blog, because it’s one of the things I do best. But for right now, just understand that a converting website is probably the #1 asset your company can have.
